Our Arequipa hotel was fantastic! It suffered the usual Peruvian water problems (no pressure and unpredictable hot water) but the architecture reminded of and old castle. Nearly everything in Arequipa was constructed of huge, white stone and our hotel was no exception. Note the stone on the inside of our room in the following pictures.
