Orphanage Visit (click on picture for more)
Before the trip began we met with Rhea and the rest of the crew we'd be traveling with. Paul and Susan discussed an orphanage near Cusco that they planned to visit and make donations of clothes, toys, personal items, etc to. Everyone agreed that they would enjoy visiting the orphanage and we all ended up bring suitcases full of donations.

The orphanage was run by 3 nuns. These ladies spent 24 hours a day caring for 25 to 30 small children. During the visit we dropped off all the donations and then were entertained by several songs and skits put on by the kids. The nuns said they seldom had visitors stay long enough to allow the kids to do these kind of presentations so the kids were pretty tickled to get the extra attention.

The nuns prepared lunch for nearly 100 kids from the orphanage and street kids from the town
every day in this building.
