I operated with the k1 and and 83 foot wire.  I used to just throw the wire in a tree 80' from the tent which left the
far end of the wire up high and the near end low.  Now, I throw the wire over a tree as close to the operating position
as I can so the wire is higher closer to the radio.  The other end I go ahead and throw in a tree.  This time I 
threw the wire over a limb about 25' high right next to the tent.  The far end I threw in a tree but the end was 
probably only 10' from the ground.  This seemed to work well.  Below are pictures of the k1 in the tent and the wire
running out of the tent.
